Auscraft Furniture: Handcrafted Custom Timber Outdoor Furniture

Auscraft Furniture is a family-owned Australian business specialising in handcrafted custom timber outdoor furniture. Based in West Gosford, NSW, we design and build custom picnic tables, outdoor dining sets and garden furniture from our own workshop, using premium Australian hardwood timbers selected for their durability, natural beauty and suitability for Australian outdoor conditions.

Our Story

Auscraft was founded with a single conviction: Australian homes, schools and commercial spaces deserve outdoor furniture built to last, not imported flat-pack products that fade, warp and fail within a few seasons. We started building custom picnic tables for local customers on the NSW Central Coast and have grown through word of mouth and direct recommendation from satisfied clients across the country.

Every table that leaves our workshop is made by hand, built to the customer's exact specifications and finished with premium exterior-grade coatings. We don't mass-produce or keep generic stock. Every piece is made to order, so you receive furniture built to suit your exact space, use and finish preferences.

What We Build

Our core product range includes Classic Picnic Tables (1200mm–3000mm, pine or hardwood), Heavy Duty Commercial Grade Picnic Tables (parks, schools, restaurants and sporting clubs), Premium Hardwood Picnic Tables (Spotted Gum, Ironbark and Merbau) and Kid Size Picnic Tables (childcare centres, schools and family backyards). We also build custom outdoor dining sets and bespoke furniture pieces. Australian Hardwood Timbers
We use Spotted Gum (Janka 11.0 kN), Ironbark (14.0 kN) and Merbau (8.6 kN): some of Australia's hardest and most durable native timbers, selected for their natural resistance to rot, insects and UV degradation. Pine is available as a cost-effective option for residential builds.
How We Work
We operate on a direct quote model: no fixed prices published. We provide a personalised quote based on your exact specifications: timber species, dimensions, finish, seat configuration and delivery location. Once you submit a request, we respond within one business day with a written quote covering all costs.
Delivery Australia-Wide
We deliver Australia-wide from our West Gosford, NSW workshop. Direct delivery is available for Sydney and surrounding NSW areas. For Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and regional areas, we arrange freight delivery to your door. Delivery costs are always included in your personalised quote.
