Auscraft picnic tables are engineered with commercial joinery: mortise-and-tenon construction, galvanised fasteners, and Australian hardwood species selected for density and durability. Timber Species for Licensed Venues
- Ironbark (14.0 kN Janka): Australia's hardest commercial timber. Exceptional resistance to surface wear, staining and moisture absorption. The preferred choice for high-traffic beer gardens.
- Spotted Gum (11.0 kN Janka): Natural oil content provides inherent resistance to spills and moisture. Popular for coastal and open-air venues.
- Blackbutt (9.1 kN Janka): Excellent dimensional stability in outdoor conditions. Takes stain and paint consistently — ideal when brand colour matching is important.
